ADULTS
We have ministries for men and women. The Men’s Breakfast and Book Club meets for fellowship once a month for breakfast at the New Rochelle Diner and to discuss one chapter of a devotional book while sharing a meal. The Women’s Book Club meets once a month at the
Manse (Pastor’s residence) for discussion of a devotional book and fellowship with refreshments as well.
CHILDREN
Children are a gift to us from God, and God has given to parents the responsibility of teaching their children what He has revealed to us in His Word, the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation (see Deuteronomy 6:4-9).
It is our role as the church to come alongside the parents of our church, to help with solid, loving, biblical teaching of God’s Word. We take this responsibility seriously. We believe it is our task to provide children and parents with biblical teaching on Sundays.
PRAYER
We pray because God our Father invites us through Christ to come to Him and receive His Fatherly care. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” – 1 John 5:14.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” – Philippians 4:6-7
